Re: Some "new" ideas of mine, post yours here
Theres a really easy idea to this massive clan war that many people have always fantasized about and its within our grasp. Infact mirage has already given us the tools to do it if he would agree. Set our Juniors to 2 seperate clans with drawings and set up the whole teams in the arena and say have ...

Re: Some "new" ideas of mine, post yours here
I like the idea of better-defined stances so they're useful in specific situations. Just curious about why people think closing clans would "= more wars etc" and "make pk and wars more fun". I think the potential benefit is that you wouldn't have as many inactive justicars, but t...

Re: Free Mud Client!?
Big fan of Mushclient. Was commercially developed for several years before it was opened to the public by Nick Gammon, so it's very stable and versatile. While it's quite a transition from Zmud, it always matches the latest Zugg release for features. If you check it out and want help getting set up,...

Apparently there's been some excitement on the mud over the past few days. Since much of this revolved around Cappadocian, I just want to make my stance clear to those involved who missed the discussion. I consider myself a reasonable person. I don't take pk losses personally, I try to be empathetic...

Re: The old Brujah is BACK!!!
You're turning this into a semantics argument? Being little is not sufficient but necessary for defining a newbie. I stand by my claim that your post was very ambiguous. Anyone who thinks that is equivalent should be ashamed. I think it possibly could be equivalent depending on the status and experi...

Re: The old Brujah is BACK!!!
Misleading. I don't care about 90% of this crap since it doesn't concern me, but newbie abuse pisses me off, so I asked around. For clarification, a few people have confirmed that when Dlok and Tyron "tried to stake [his] little clannies", they went after one relatively experienced malk fi...

Definitely agree with Bair on this one. Mdeaths and Vagabond Pdeaths mean nothing and cause many players to be inaccurately listed. I like the idea of league rank being determined by status then total experience (combined cost of all stats trained as I understand it), but I'd even take it a step fur...

Re: One person has two Justicar characters?
This has been talked into the ground. Enough talk about alts/multies, as they "do not exist" to us. If you have an issue, mail support or alert an admin on the mud. Admins know whether or not you already have a justicar (duh) so those are the ones you should be taking your complaint up wi...

Magic, skill, and most importantly, The reason why "toe-to-toe sparring" proves nothing and is a waste of everyone's time. Just because they're less likely to win doesn't mean they won't.

One person has two Justicar characters?
In two different clans? Really? To paraphrase the words of a player who has felt the affects, "He logs on, checks out my stats and reads me under the pretext of being a good clan leader. Then he immediately switches to his other justi alt and jumps me." This could obviously happen with any...

When in fact the issue probably doesn't involve the pfile at all. For those who aren't familiar with vw code and aren't satisfied with broad, dismissive generalizations, here's a quick explanation based on the available original vampire wars base (and the code of most diku/merc muds, because the con...

I have a few thoughts on this topic. First, on Astaroth's actions: from what I understand, he morted a clannie and engaged in some verbal sparring that included "selective remembering". I don't see how this situation could even possibly constitute "driving a player away from the mud&q...

Also you want to make sure that the item you're trying to pick up isn't a container with further items inside. This can set the limit over 999 and make it impossible until you take everything out of the container.

Aw, that isn't "making war". It's just three Toreadors ******* with you - two attacking, one reading you. Used to be pretty standard fare for them, at least until Bair and Rigel became less active. It's perfectly legal, and also obnoxious. There's nothing you can do about it besides quitti...

Yes it sucks. It's happened to everyone at least once, a repeated torso or one lasting far longer than the help file recommends. The US Federal government is hardly a model of transparency, so why do we care so much about debates? Whoever is elected will abuse the power anyway.

I don't know which party you're talking about, but the debates aren't sponsored or organized by either party, OR the mainstream media/news networks, as one might assume. Problem with calling yourself a libertarian is that you have to disagree with ANY state-run social programs, which means you don't care that old people, handicapped people, abused women, and orphans would get screwed. The parties all mean well but they all suck in their own way.

I'm not putting it back up. Here was my reasoning behind putting up info in a public part of the forum: Clans with players big enough to explore difficult areas give their newbies a huge advantage. I recently became aware of a situation that I'd like someone to explain. There are those who shun bash...
