Yeah, that's true. I guess just b/c *I* would never take a screenshot of a page just to get a pic doesn't mean someone else wouldn't do it. But, if they want the pic *that* bad the least you can do is make obtaining it as inconvenient as possible for them. Besides, anyone who actually shares their p...

Re: My Website
If people are downloading pics you don't want them to download you should look into something like Thickbox. It should be relatively simple to implement into your site (by adding something like class="thickbox()" into the image links). This will trigger one of those nice pop-up windows tha...

Additionally, maybe we could remove mobkills, mobdeaths, playerkills, and playerdeaths from the player's league. It's a good tool for statisticians, but it could dissuade some players from becoming active. Nah, it was determined earlier in the thread that I'm the only person that ever looks at play...

I've got finals coming up this weekend as well. So I'll be unable to contribute until monday (if all the items weren't input). I tried to input the next 10 items or so beyond where I got the other day and they were all already in there and the info looked consistent with what was in my database.

But, I do plan on posting what's on Mordent's site on the wiki site now that i have it. Before you bother sitting down and manually entering 700+ quest items into the wiki it would be worth finding out how the site stores the information it displays. I was under the impression (as I have heard over and over again) that past admin were known to be very much against questing sites. This would lead me to believe that at the drop of a dime an "official" vw:classic questing site could very well go offline or be deleted. Not to mention, it's...

all that players league **** is pretty inconsequential. Re: Pwipe Discussion
As it’s quite clear, at least one major aspect of the game that needs an overhaul is stuff for larger players to do. Doing a pwipe and/or making it more difficult to grow (in my opinion) isn’t the answer. I think implementing a new system that offers some replay value is key. Granted, runes were an ...

Follow the directions on my site to lost city (as there are two water filled rooms). The dir should take you straight to the correct room. Personally, I very much dislike the glass theme. I realize the setting for the game is generally "dark" but think the red that is used is too bright and isn't very easy on the eyes. But then again, maybe I'm just getting old and my eyes are more sensitive than they used to be. Regardless, ...

Yeah, it's a regular item that comes up on runes. It can be found in vishna'ak in a storage room. You can hunt the aggro guard (usually a low number.guard) that has the key just outside the room. In situations like that making sure you have giant strength cast on yourself helps, too. Type 'affect' to check which spells are currently active. If it's not on the list then just c giant. Problem solved. Hopefully.
