spam ids

As some of you have read in the announcement area, I was attempting to clean up known spam accounts. I may have accidently removed some legit people, but I'm feeling pretty confident that I didn't. If I did, im sorry. Just register again.

Anyone able to point out any id's that they think are spammers? I've been looking around and haven't been able to find any. I added a new field to the registration, which should slow them down with their automated registration. Unless you actually play the game, most people wouldn't know the answer. So, that's a bonus too. At any rate, if you guys can find some id's that shouldn't be here, please reply to this post with them. I'll take a look at them and nuke them too.

Can anyone verify if the latest id's that signed up are legit?

From what I've noticed they've been legit: at least kurtap and sigyn are. Those are the only ones I remember off the top of my head.

What about the ones that say Yahoo [Bot] etc? I've seen a couple with [Bot] tag... or is that an acronym for something?

Those id's are designed in the forums so the forums adminstrators can allow webcrawelers to browse and inventory the information on the forums.

so, I take it, that no one else has spotted spam ids? I am pretty sure that no new ones are being created, but if you see one that isn't legit then let me know so I can nuke it.

I dont use this theme because of that. Do you use it? After you log in, is it all fixed?

Mine doesn't look like that before logging in. However, it does seem to have a few issues on other pages where some links tend to bleed over on top of other images, etc. Nothing as extreme as your screenshot, though. After I login (using prosilver theme) I haven't experienced any issues like this whatsoever.

I believe Azazel made some changes and made it so glass and silver were the only ones that would work since there seemed to be an issue with the blackblood one.

Personally, I very much dislike the glass theme. I realize the setting for the game is generally "dark" but think the red that is used is too bright and isn't very easy on the eyes. But then again, maybe I'm just getting old and my eyes are more sensitive than they used to be. Regardless, I'd prefer the prosilver theme to be set as default...especially since there are apparently issues with the ugly glass theme.
