New to this Vampire Wars

I've played VW for 10 years but I'm new to this one. Is there anything different than from what the orginal one had?

mmm from memory, the original didn't have armor runes, weapon runes, and a number of the items.

more importantly, it's what this one had in common with the original: a lot of the same admin. I know they're mostly inactive now - but original vw coders and admin run this mud. Joker was involved with us in the beginning and I'm sure he'd still say he was affiliated with us if he was slightly active.

If anything, it was more like a pwipe of the original - allowing us to fix a lot of known problems while handing out the older code.

Of course, there are newer known problems, but oh well.

just glad we're still around.

I've popped on and off a few, over the years.
But this is the only one I keep sort of active (in other words, the only password I remember).

i have to keep the same password on every mud i play or i would never remember them. yeah i know write them down and htat would work .. but i forget where that sheet is or it's nowhere to be found... ahh the computer now that i can do .. i do keep track of passy's on my comp now well not comp but disk

I just returned tonight, havn't played muds in years, then suddenly got the urge. My character last logged on in 2005.

Apparently I'm in gangrel, and havnt the foggiest idea what to do or where to go. Hopefully tomorrow I can figure out something to do to get back in the swing of things... its worse than starting fresh.
