Saves vs hit/dam
I have heard thousand stories bout saves and bout hit/dam....do saves rlly matter or what??

saves are for pk
hit dam is for bashing
saves for bashing is a waste of time cause you can't really save vs poison which is main spell cast on you by mobs.
but in pk saves reduce all magic damage taken eg fireshield fireball. and on top of this gives a chance to stop a curse or dispel or any maladiction from hitting. this can allow you to escape seemingly impossible odds.
in bashing all that matters is hit dam... hit roll above 300 has good chance of hitting mobs and for every dam you get your damage increases by an amount times by your status... status adds dodge parry hit chance and damage done... so ultimately status is best for bashing... but i have seen no change to spell saves with status except that you get lagged if you fail a flee when high status. at low status you can spam flee like 10 times per round whereas at my status 1 flee and if it fails you can't act till next round.
