so when i loot this item for my quest card i get
You get a shield of many colors from the corpse of Sir Gareth.
a shield of many colors explodes in your hand with a loud BOOM! Greedy aren't you?

and it is gone. anyone know a way around this?

just recently discovered: Jivaro's shield also explodes, much like how Ghnat described Sir Gareth's
