I've spoken to 2 newbies in the past 24 hours that are both complete newbies who found us via Mudconnector, one specifically said the "top 20".

The ranks reset a couple days ago and we're 15th with seven votes - I know we have more active players than that! It's easy to create an account, there's zero e-mail spam and if you have cookies enabled you'll rarely even need to retype your password, it will remember you day to day. Top ten always results in fresh blood, help keep us on the map!
