Information on Status Levels
The status of a character represents the 'danger' of the player. You only have a status if you are level 3. It grants no extra powers, but is a good measure of how deadly that player is in combat. Each time you decapitate a player of the same level as you, your status goes up by one and their status goes down by one (to a minimum of zero). The following shows how many kills (minus deaths) you need to go up one level of status:
0 |
Vagabond |
1 - 4 |
Rogue |
5 - 9 |
Fighter |
10 - 14 |
Adventurer |
15 - 19 |
Champion |
20 - 24 |
Warrior |
25 - 29 |
Slayer |
30 - 34 |
Destroyer |
35 - 39 |
Hero |
40 + |
Conquerer |
Remember, you can only decap people of the same or higher status level as yourself.
If you yourself get decapped, you lose all your experience points, one immunity, and a status level. It is therefore a good idea to try NOT to let other people decap you just so they can get status. Mortals cannot be decapped and present no danger to avatars or above - this means that avatars or above also present no danger to mortals.
For an idea of the best and worst players in the game, there is a players league available to look at, with the scores of each person and information about mob kills, mob deaths, player kills and player deaths. It is updated roughly twice a day during the week, and once over the weekend. Each player kill, by the way, is worth 5000 points. See the players league for more details.
